David Pinkston
David Pinkston has been a professional cinematographer
and freelance editor since 1980. He is a Graduate of
the University of Texas at Arlington with a BFA in
studio arts with concentration in Cinematography and
Photography.Film works include features, industrials, commercials and PSAs and has worked in all film formats from 16mm, 35mm to 70mm IMAX. Film clients and companies include the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, City of Fort Worth, Baptist Radio and Television Commission, Laser Magic, Kaelin Productions and BLACKleaderFILMS.
As a videographer he has shot for clients such as Miss Texas, Buckboard Productions, Texas Christian University, Baptist Radio and Television Commission.
Production locations have taken him to sites in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Chile, Argentina, Colombia.
In the early 1980's he worked with Fort Worth Productions and Univision, Inc. whose clients included Van Cliburn, KERA, Texas State Technical Institute and local clients for industrials and commercials.
He is a licensed private pilot, scuba driver and enjoys helping students at the UTA film and video section.
Lela Bell
Lela bell is a rising star in the DFW area. She is a true
student of the arts and works constantly on perfecting her
craft. Lela is represented by the Linda McAlister Talent
Agency. Lela, tells me that she’s been acting for over
20yrs. But, she didn’t consider the making a career of it
until she turned 21yrs. Lela is working on several projects: A feature length movie called “Small Timers” and her recent works consist of: A reality parody called “America Studs” and She’s completed two shorts: “The Restaurant” and “Twisted”. You can also catch Lela at the Dallas Opera performing “La Rondine” January 2007.
Lela also has several awards in choreography: “African Tales of Earth and Sky” and John Garcia Column Award-Best Choreography for “Cabaret”
Lela is classically trained in Ballerina. She works in the DFW area as a professional dancer, dance teacher and choreographer. She speaks several dialects: Southern, British and Jamaican
Mario Mims
Mario Mims hails from Savannah, GA and for all his
city ways is a country boy at heart. He is an
award-wining actor that has paid his dues doing many
independent films ("Two Days”,” Separated by Light",
"Black Voices" etc.) theatre (Shelley Garrett's
"Beautyshop" etc.), and voice-over projects (Dr.
Pepper, 7-Eleven, McDonald's etc.)He can be seen in movie theatres this summer in the adaptation of the V.C. Andrews novel "Rain" starring Faye Dunaway. Aside from acting, his other artistic outlets include a love for writing screenplays as well as song-writing. He contends that he believes the power of acting can help everyone realize we are all struggling within the human condition, but need to be reminded of the power within the human spirit
Monica Peña
Texas-born Monica Peña has been acting since 2002 in film,
television and commercials along with working in theater
and voiceovers. Most recently, Monica completed filming indie short, 'The Sessions', by writer/director Leona. In it, she plays a drug-dealing gang member who is unwittingly steered towards her redemption through a series of events.
Career highlights include working with Gael Garcia Bernal in 'The King' and receiving an award for Best Actress in 2005 for her portrayal of a young wife/mother who is forced to choose between her children and freedom from a life of abuse in 'Ana's House'. Appearances on shows such as Crossing Jordan, CSI:Miami and Charmed have allowed Monica the opportunity to continue studying and working on her craft with some extremely talented individuals.
Monica is also a spokesmodel and non-fiction writer and is represented by Linda McAlister Talent.
Sherri Small Truitt
Sherri has been acting since the age of 11. She tells me
that she started practicing her Oscar winning speech in high
school. Sherri was runner up in Bar Bones Films Festival last
October for Best Actor and Best Film. Her most recent project is “The Water’s Edge.” Sherri is represented by Condra Agency.
Sherri special skills are as followed: Voice Over, Certified scuba diver, snow skiing, roller skating, Black Jack Dealer, physical comedy, characters, Emcee, spokesperson, Irish and British accents, several southern dialects, New York dialects, American Sign Language, BA in Theatre, dozens and dozens of theatrical performances ranging from Emelia in "Othello" to Martha in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf?" to Cherie in "Bus Stop", Shakespeare in the Park and Sea World.

Tai Powell
Tai is a very talented actress and has been acting since the
age of 6yrs. Tai told me the day she realized she wanted to do this for a living she was 24. She walked into a local Garden Ridge store, and a lady stopped her and asked if I wanted to be in a commercial. She said okay. The casting agent told her that she had to audition right now. So she did and got the principal spot. It was a National Commercial! After that she got an agent and the rest is history!
Tai most recent work was and ABC pilot called “A House Divide” were she played a nurse. Tai is represented by Ivett Stone Agency. Tai is originally from Indiana, and Chicago.
