Synopsis:
Raymond Blackwell JR is an establish author, who decides to take on his biggest demon, his own story. But, the memories of his abusive father are too much for him to bear. He exiles himself from his family in hopes of not unleashing the Jekyll buried inside.Production

Raymond Blackwell JR:Ray is an accomplished author who is trouble by his past. His father falls ill and needs Raymond Jr to care for him. He is pushed by his publishing company to write his autobiography. He quickly realizes that the hurt and pain runs to deep and the memories of his father are unbearable. He exiles himself from his family trying not to become the beast that he feared as a child. He is unable able to explain to his wife and son why him and his father don’t get alone, which in turns causes conflict in his own marriage.
Camilla Blackwell:
Camilla is a stay at home mom with another child on the way. She cares for her husband father. She is in an unstable position for the past two years Raymond Jr has basically exile himself from her and his son Jamal. She is at the breaking point.
Jamal Blackwell:
Jamal is a 10 yr old boy. Who has to take the place of his father. He has to grow up really fast because his mother depends on him a lot to fill the duties around the house that his father doesn’t.
Julia Clemons:
Camilla mother, doesn’t understand Camilla gripes. All she sees is that her daughter is in a stable relationship and is well taken care of. She tries to get Camilla to understand that you have to go along to get along.
Raymond Blackwell SR:
Raymond once was a huge man with a husky voice that demanded people fear him. He terrified his family, day in and day out. He goes through life as if they aren’t even there. He beats his wife and rapes her constantly. He even torments his son. Until one day a friend shoots him in the back. After 20yrs of drinking and a hard life his body diterates and he is in need of his son’s care. But, Ray doesn’t want to have anything to do with him. Raymond Sr realizes after sitting in a wheel chair year after year and seeing his grandson and his son’s wife care for him that he needs to make a mends with his son.
Dorothy Blackwell:
Dorothy is a stay at home mom. She is entrapped in her world by her husband who abuses her and little Ray for not being someone else. Dorothy tries to protect Ray Jr from the hurt and pain that his father lashes out on them.
