David Pinkston and I went location scouting actually for a bar scene we have in the movie. We went to about three bars….I really like J.R Bentley it’s a cozy little place. Possible will work just have to fit it into the budget….ha! Budget

Matthew Greer has agreed to portray the role of Wellington…Mat has been seen recently in Mad Money as Junior and the other film he was in won an Oscar "No country for old men."

I've rewritten Throckmorton and Wellington add about eight more pages and re-cast some roles to better fit the script.

I believe the members of the crew and cast that made it to the film festival had a great time. It was good to see the audience react the way they did. I had people telling me that they thoroughly enjoyed the picture. I even had a few people tell me they were in tears. I made a few connections and hope to be selected to a few more festivals. My supervisor from my day job came out to the festival and had a good time.

I have been informed that we have been selected to the 2008 Texas Black Film Festival. I am shocked because we didn't submit to the festival.

We are fully staff for Throckmorton and Wellington shoot. The cast and crew are really excited about shooting on film as well as I. We plan on shooting in lovely Sulphur Springs Texas.

Juli Erickson has agreed to portray Rose Throckmorton in "T&W." Juli is another actress who is infamous in the Dallas/Ft worth community. She has been in over 40 films.

Grant James has agreed to portray Cecil Throckmorton in T&W. Grant is an icon in the Dallas/Fort worth area. He just had his film Wendell Baker story play in the Austin film festival,

I got a call from Natalie Ratino today. She enjoyed reading the film and is excited about the project. But the bad news is the investor has dropped all the way out. So, I will focus on getting my short "Father" finish and ready for festivals while searching for another investor.

We are in preproduction on our upcoming feature Alexandrie Wolfe Diaries. We plan on shooting it on super 16mm at the cost of 250,000 dollars. We have a single investor and the check should be signed and in the bank September 1, 2007-9:00am

Poorchild Films is 17 minutes into editing on Why do I look like my father and it’s still looking good. The movie length will be roughly 25minutes. The feature is being edited by a good friend.

David Pinkston has agreed to be D.P/Camera Operator for Alexandrie Wolfe Diaries. Carolyn Hodge has also agreed to coming on as 1st A.D along with Julianna Pabst as Makeup and SFX. I look to secure financing here in the next month or so. I look to be casting in October.

Poorchild Films has finished it’s feature length Screenplay entitled Alexandrie Wolfe Dairies “The Angel of Death” and will be holding a table read on Saturday July 7, 2007 at 10pm. Poorchild Films will be going into it’s second phase of production securing financing. Once financing is secured we will see out three named Stars and began casting locally once there in place. Poorchild Films plans to start the casting process in October 2007 and Principle Photography in January of 2008.

Lela is a welcome addition to an already talented cast. She will be portraying a very difficult character.
Tabitha is only on screen for a moment but, has great impact to the overall story. Lela will bring depth and great compassion to a strong character.

Mario has agreed to come aboard this project. He will be portraying a powerful character “Micheal Ray Terrell. Mario is a student of the arts. His performance should light up on the big screen.

David has agreed to be Director of Photography on this project. David will give the movie a great feel with his unique lighting schemes and genuine capturing of characters.
Monica Pena (November 9, 2006)
Monica Pena has come aboard this project to portray a very complicated character. Dominique Terrell. Monica should add depth and a softness need to a explosive character.
Jesse Cortez (October 22, 2006)
Jesse was signed on to this project and will be portraying the character David Perez. Jesse will bring a silence to the film in his character arch. It should be a powerful role with a short screen time.
Sherri Small Truitt (October 15, 2006)
Sherri has agreed to be apart of this project. She will be portraying doctor Angela Stone. Sherri brings great depth to a generic character.
Tai Powell (September 12, 2006)
Tai has signed onto this project and will bring a soft with her smile and wisdom as an actress that is need to portray the little sister (Joy Davenport).
