I have worked with Poor Child Films on two projects and can only hope they are the start of lasting partnership. “Big Mike’s” screenplays & direction added with David Pinkston’s cinematography, have restored my faith in the meaning of film and reminded me of why I began acting. I found myself challenged and appreciated on the set of “Dymora,” which are two things an actor hopes can co-exist on any film set. We then elevated our work with the forthcoming “Why Do I Look Like My Father?” because everyone involved was allowed to explore the dark regions of abuse and explore the true meaning of humanity and redemption.
